Job description:
Working with App Development teams to create and maintain database objects,perform data object administration,tuning,SQL tuning,backup & recovery,production support. Batch/Dynamic back out.
Primary Skills: DBA w/ strong (10+yrs) OS/390-Z/OS DB2 Mainframe experience. Prior experience with IMS databases is a HUGE PLUS. Production 24/7 coverage and weekend implementations are required. Quarterly disaster recovery testing.
Additional Skills: Exp with DB2 utilities:Unload,Load,Reorg,Runstats,Copy and Recovery are of Explain plan,JCL,ISPF and Cobol.
Other Skills: Prior experince as a IMS DBA is a plus.
