Scope of work/responsibilities:

We are seeking a Project Manager to provide strategic planning for and to
lead our client's PeopleSoft Applications upgrade and implementation of new
modules. The core PS Financial modules in production are: GL, AP, and
Purchasing, and future implementation will involve AR, Billing and
Budgeting. Candidate will plan, control and execute the scheduling and
allocation of activities and resources of the project team, and assign
priorities directed to the short and long term needs of systems users.
Individual will be adept in managing various technical projects of a highly
complex nature and providing direct supervision of technical managers and
project team members, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying
appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely
completion of projects. Specifically, candidate will lead the analysis on
our client's PeopleSoft Upgrade projects, new module implementations and
process improvement projects ( . seamless integration with other corporate
systems), and advise other Project Managers on similar issues as they arise,
and supervise the work of a group of senior consultants, project team
members and other project managers as required.

Required skills/qualifications:

To be considered, candidate must have 3+ years of PeopleSoft Project
Management experience, and be well acquainted with the installation's
standards and practices and possess functional knowledge in the following
areas: GL, Purchasing, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Human Resources and
Budgeting. Prefer candidates with: 1) upgrade experience to PeopleSoft
version / ; 2) proven skills working with Web based application
architectures; and 3) a good understanding of PeopleTools, Application
Designer, SQR, SQL and Cobol.
