It is very sad when things and people become old, decrepit and
useless........
I have boxes of computer crap, software and discs that I shun to
organize and dispose of. (should port over any useful files and just
toss the old stuff, noone is going to buy it and when you die, your
heirs and executors have to dispose of that stuff.). It is really
"sobering" when you go to estate sales and see the remnants of lives
gone buy in the useless stuff and clutter they leave behind.
If I was drinking , I would have 3 or 4 beers and the job would be
easier. Since I am on the water wagon, all I can do is pray,
meditate and perhaps exercise myself into a state of relative
serenity.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the
courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the
difference.
Things I cannot change.. aging, the past.
Things I can change: greying hair, (Just for Men with a 2 dollars off
coupon), expanding gut (diet and exercise),
bad attitude (various tools). Cursing, being a mean SOB, and
dissing people on newgroups (lay off the intoxicants, practice
positive happy wappy thinking). Collecting useless computer junk:
(sell or toss it).
