Well, I spent most of the evening sorting out the junkbox. I decided to
throw out all hard drives less than 4 gig. That is eight or so. Already
sledge hammered a couple, have another six to do tommorrow morning. What
is left is 4-20 gig drives, ten of them.

Have a boxfull of drives, probably keep them for now. Also have some 8
CDROM drives. Modems at least half dozen tested, mostly ISA bus and
"regular" and 3 external, rest internal. I'll Probably throw out two that
I have that are not tested. Boxful of various cards, soundblasters,
network, I-O, etc. And, I'll be able to clear up about two square feet of
floor space in my "inner sanctum" which looks more like Fiber MaGee's
closet (for those old enough to understand that term).

USR PCI internal winmodems at the local Walmart are $25, but Best Data
modems (same specs) are $19 at Radio Shack (Radio Crap), and just slightly
glitchy for installing the drivers _AND_ have no speaker for listening to
the handshaking sounds!!! boooo-hisssss. USR has the speaker, and very
clean driver install.

What is an Old Haft Drive? Half of a Full Drive?
