JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design.
* Conducts data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and backup and recovery.
* Supervises all changes and additions to database/server change requested by application development teams.
* Performs maintenance tasks on existing test and production environments that includes modifying database sizes and migrating changes through various environments
* Monitors database error logs to ensure proper capacity and availability
* Designs database configurations in cooperation with application developers
* Executes database software installation, database creations/configurations, and loads SKILL SET
* Sufficient expertise is required with both host and network environments to provide all database functions and services.
* Individual will have a thorough knowledge of modeling tools and techniques
