Job description: Our client in the banking and finance industry has an immediate need for 10 individuals to provide infrastructure related Systems Programming/Engineering for the towers DB2, IMS, CICS, MQ, MF Hardware and Operating Systems.

These positions require experience installing DB2, not a DB2 user. Individuals need to know how to run DB2, not just use DB2.

The individuals will support operating systems and sub- systems in a mainframe environment. Provide systems programming/engineering support which includes installing, maintaining, and migrating mainframe system software from testing through production. Provide technical support and expertise in all functions of mainframe tool management and infrastructure design / configuration.

Serve as an engineering focal point regarding mainframe product / tool evaluation, capacity plans, disaster recovery and required hardware configurations.

Provides 24 hour technical support for all mainframe operating systems and sub-systems.
